General[edit | edit source]

The Boosted Gladius Driver is a modified Gladius Driver with increased shield bypass.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Boosted Gladius Drivers are identical to regular Gladius Drivers in every aspect except for +25% shield bypass. This makes them useful anywhere you would use the regular version.

Combine this weapon with Iridium Magnets to reliably drain opponents' health, or with Phased Projectiles to almost completely ignore their shields.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Boosted Gladius Drivers have the same problems as the regular variant, namely low mass efficiency and their minimum range.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Boosted Gladius Driver appears identical to Gladius Driver I-III.
  • The Boosted Gladius Driver is the first Boosted ship weapon.
