Corvettes are small ships designed for beginner players and are considered as Tier 0 hulls.
They possess a 360-degree firing arc and are incredibly easy to pilot. However, they are inferior to and thus soon replaced by the standard hulls of Tier 1 and above.
All mainstream corvettes are named after words related to discovery (e.g. Pathfinder).
