The Disintegrator Cannon is an Energy weapon that also provides extra health to the ship it is equipped on. It is restricted to the Punisher or better cruisers.

It fires a burst of 5 yellow bolts that home in towards their targets, reminiscent of the Aurora Ray.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Disintegrator Cannons have superior mass efficiency relative to other basic Xeno weapons such as Rupture Beams and can simultaneously function as armor. This vastly improves the overall effectiveness of your ships.

Disintegrator Cannons have decent range when boosted by Beam Capacitors, posing a threat to battleships that get too close.

They have extremely high accuracy due to their homing ability, making them suitable against speedy Alien Reapers and squadrons.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Disintegrator Cannons have a poor repair to health ratio compared to Talonite Armor and its variants, therefore making your ships less repair-efficient.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Disintegrator Cannon is the first of the Xeno Division Ship Weapons.
  • It is also the first to receive a Xeno variant (Xeno Disintegrator Cannon) and give additional health.
  • The Disintegrator Cannon originally had a repair to health ratio of 0.5:1, but its repair time was doubled to match the standard repair ratio of 1:1. It also had a DPS of 68/82/95, which had been increased to the current values.
