The Hunter Wing is a Hunter Swarm adapted for bases, intended for top-tier players.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

The Hunter Wing's range is on par with the Spectre Wing and Ranger Swarm, but it deals Alien DPS and drastically more damage, which makes it effective against base attacks during events, as usually, NPC ships do not have any resistance to Alien damage, and thus, their ships will be destroyed much faster. This is supplemented by the fact that they do not have good squadron protection as well.

Disadvantages[ | ]

Hunter Wings are relatively fragile, compared to the AXIS wings (Yellowjacket Wing), and can be shot down much more easily. it would be better to use Fury Wings instead.

Alien damage is greatly resisted by Xeno Division Hulls and above, and thus the Hunter Wing has limited effectiveness against them.
