We need to get someone inside to scpoe out the layout discreetly. Rebels, if we diver Umbra's attention elsewhere, we might have a shot at bypassing their guards.	”

The Wendigos are on Patrol and getting into the secret lab is no easy feat! Victoria still has low level clearance into Umbra HQ and contacts an inside man to find a way to get to V-153.

Infiltration is the 58th Event in VEGA Conflict. It introduces the Umbra Fighter T8 Hull, the Wendigo.

Considering the amount of security that's surrounding Umbra's secret outpost, I won't risk the Rebels storming the gates without more information on what's going on in there.

We have an operative working within Umbra. Back when Bishop was recruiting, one of our commanders joined them. His mission was to go undercover as a defector of the Rebellion and work up the ranks to obtain a high security clearance. Communication went dark as soon as he was taken in. We didn't know what to think. Was he dead or still carrying out his mission as planned? Recently, we have been receiving encrypted messages that have given us hope that he is still in operation.

If only we could get a message to him, we might be able to gather more information as to V-153's whereabouts and how we might be able to get to her.

Commander Burr,

Your inside man is alive and working up the ranks. He can't get clearance for the secret lab, however, he was able to gather information that might help us. It appears as though Dr Chiron has rebuilt his lab and is picking up where he left off with his research into the Xeno Virus. He is using V-153's plasma beams to restrain the Alien Mothership so he can extract samples. It is unclear what he intends to do with the Alien Mothership and the data he collects from it but getting through to this lab will not be an easy feat.

I will await further instructions.
