Parasitic Armor is an Umbra-only Armor for Tier 8 ships, that is capable of enhancing the amount of Ablative Health regained by Ablation, much like Thonian Armor.

Xeno and Blight Parasitic Armors provide damage resistance against Alien and Blight Damage respectively, in addition to slightly higher Ablative Recovery.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Parasitic Armor is more mass efficient than Thonian Armor by far in terms of health, and provides the same bonus to Ablative Recovery. The level III version provides 50% resistance to all 3 traditional damage types, essentially combining the Elemental Thonian Armors into one.

Xeno and Blight Parasitic Armors can further enhance the ship's resistance to faction-based damage types.

Disadvantages[ | ]

The level II version is the least mass-efficient armor out of the four levels.
