General[edit | edit source]

This spawner can swarm enemies with Pikes each equipped with Resolute Shields and three Bombardment Torpedoes. Unlike player spawners, spawned ships are not automatically destroyed when the parent ship is defeated.

Pikes have a 65-degree firing arc and are significantly slower than spawned ships that are available to the player such as the Blaze Phantom.

Strategy[edit | edit source]

Unless you destroy the ship containing the spawner (i.e. the Broadsider), it will continue to warp in Pikes, making it a priority target.

That being said, the Pikes are not that much of a threat if you keep your ships moving, since Bombardment Torpedoes are generally easy to dodge.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The Pyro Pike was introduced with the launch of the Tier 9 season, in the Liberatus Scarab target during the Liberation event.
