The Repeating Polaron Ray is a modified Polaron Ray with an ability to bounce onto nearby ships, causing extra damage, similar to the function of the ECHO Ray. Each bounce does 60% of the previous damage.

Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]

Advantages[edit | edit source]

Repeating Polaron Rays are incredibly lightweight for their potential damage output. Their chain effect allows them to damage multiple ships, achieving up to 170% listed DPS.

Repeating Polaron Rays can also damage ships that are otherwise out of range through their chain ability.

Disadvantages[edit | edit source]

Repeating Polaron Rays actually deal less than their listed DPS against a single target. To break even against the regular Polaron Ray, they have to hit at least 2 targets.

Repeating Polaron Rays deal reduced damage to modules. This combined with the chain effect makes it difficult to take down individual modules since the damage is so spread out.
