General[edit | edit source]
Strategy and Setup[edit | edit source]
Advantages[edit | edit source]
Like the original and Blight damage counterparts, the Void Havoc Cannon is designed for close to mid range combat, dealing out a constant barrage of void damage towards any enemy ships in its path.
It is able to pierce multiple targets and thus multiply its DPS based on how many ships are lined up in its arc of fire.
Since it deals Void Damage, all non-Marauder player hulls are vulnerable to its full DPS.
Disadvantages[edit | edit source]
Like its other counterparts however, the Void Havoc Cannon still loses out in terms of range, and can be easily kited by ships that have longer range weapons like the Nova Missile.
Ships that have counter pierce tech, such as the Paragon Battleship, or Ogre Battleship, or have counter-pierce tech equipped like the Shockwave Shell or Ship Pierce Resistors, can reduce the piercing of this weapon, reducing its DPS by a significant amount.
NPC hulls are highly resistant to void damage.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Void Havoc Cannon, as well as the Pariah Battlecruiser, were released much later than players were expecting (2 months between each new Marauder hull)
