General[ | ]

The Xeno Cluster Missile is an advanced version of the Cluster Missile with superior damage and deals Alien Damage, taking on a green coloration instead of orange in combat.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Xeno Cluster Missiles have even better mass efficiency than Heavy Cluster Missiles and deal massive damage, especially against targets with lots of armor.

They can also use Xeno Munitions to reduce their spread and become more accurate against stationary targets.

Disadvantages[ | ]

Xeno Cluster Missiles, like its weaker variants, have short range and are hence vulnerable to kiting. They also have problems hitting fast targets especially with Xeno Munitions equipped.

Their AoE is extremely limited and cannot even be enlarged much by Xeno Munitions since it is just a percentage increase.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The Xeno Cluster Missile is the first Xeno ship weapon.
  • The Xeno Cluster Missile originally fired like the Hydra Missile, albeit with a quicker firing rate; it now fires a flurry of missiles since the April 2017 update. Its spread was also halved to the present value due to its inaccuracy.
  • This weapon is no longer available to Umbra hulls after the late April 2019 update to facilitate the rock-paper-scissors system between T7 factions. Existing items will be replaced by Blight Nova Missile in the May 2019 update.
  • Along with other T6 equipment, this item's build time was significantly reduced during the late April 2019 update as summarized here.
