Overview[ | ]

Zynthium is the removed third basic resource in the game. It was mainly used alongside Helium-3 or Mineral Ore and was a key component in heavy armors.

It was removed some time after the official release of VEGA Conflict for redundancy reasons early in game.

Uses[ | ]

Although removed, it served as an essential resource as it was used constantly

  • Armor

The resource was heavily used in the research of heavy armor plates or alloys for hulls or bases. This made it important for tanking builds as Zynthium was the strongest armor at the time.

  • Alongside Resources

It was also used with other resources in upgrades that didn't involve armor. It was sometimes used more or less than the other 3 and was an extra thing to grind for, for upgrades.

Obtaining[ | ]

Mining[ | ]

The second way of getting Zynthium early on, players can put powered Zynthium Miners next to Asteroids to slowly mine and collect Zynthium. However many players do not use this strategy due to how low of resource you get or how slow it can be.

Cargo[ | ]

The normal method of obtaining Zynthium is by attacking specific Planetary Cargo Fleets marked with Zynthium or simply attacking the Sector Cargo Fleets.

PvB[ | ]

Stealing resources from player bases are very common, many simply snipe the players Storage Modules and leave unscratched. It wasn't as effective as today's stealing but still a way to get it

Coining[ | ]

The least favorable method, you can simply coin all of your Zynthium, however it needs verification and is unknown how much you could fill up
